Hands-on and presentations await consumers for JUST CAUSE 3, FINAL FANTASY XV, HITMAN, DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED, DRAGON QUEST HEROES and the award-winning FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward

HAMBURG, GERMANY (JULY 16, 2015)Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in Europe and PAL territories, has unveiled its biggest line-up ever for Gamescom 2015. The Publisher presents a number of premieres at Europe‘s biggest trade & consumer show for interactive entertainment over more than 1,100 square meters of booth space featuring more than 200 hands-on stations for gamers eager to try out Square Enix’s upcoming releases.

From August 5 to August 9, visitors of Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, can go hands-on with a wide variety of top titles from the Square Enix portfolio. This includes the worldwide first consumer hands-on for action-spectacular JUST CAUSE 3. In addition, gamers can look forward to hands-on with the award-winning MMO FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Heavensward™, the acclaimed indie adventure game LIFE IS STRANGE, the action RPG DRAGON QUEST HEROES®: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below™, as well as the upcoming PC version of FINAL FANTASY® TYPE-0 HD. Another European premiere for consumers are the live theatre demonstrations (in German) for Io-Interactive’s HITMAN and Eidos-Montréal’s DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED in the Square Enix cinema. Last, but certainly not least, the big stage of the booth is all about the upcoming fantasy blockbuster FINAL FANTASY® XV. Visitors will be treated to a number of exciting stage presentations with many well-known guests and new insights into the much-awaited game – a few select fans will even get the chance to play FINAL FANTASY XV -EPISODE DUSCAE- 2.0 at the booth.

As in the previous year, the Square Enix presence stretches over two locations in hall 9. The main booth (hall 9, B31/B41) includes both the hands-on areas for JUST CAUSE 3 and FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward, where players compete in daily Battle Challenges against the gigantic primals Ravana and Bismarck. Hands-on stations for DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD for PC, as well as LIFE IS STRANGE are also located at the main booth. In the booth’s cinema, consumers can check out HITMAN and DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED, just around the corner of the huge stage for FINAL FANTASY XV. Consumers waiting in line for one of the presentations or hands-on stations can pass the time by checking out mobile releases LARA CROFT: RELIC RUN and HITMAN GO at one of the many mobile hands-on stations.

MMO fans are called to arms at the FINAL FANTASY XIV: BATTLE ARENA (hall 9, C51), where gamers face-off against all the powerful primals featured in the game in order to win attractive prizes. Returning to comment on the FINAL FANTASY XIV action live are the experienced ESL commentators Mori, Hendrik and A1m.

HITMAN GO is a turn-based puzzle game with beautifully rendered diorama-style set pieces.
