LOS ANGELES (Nov. 8, 2024) – Today, SQUARE ENIX launched SOULFUL HOUR, the ninth season for FOAMSTARS™, the vibrant free-to-play 4v4 foam party shooter on PlayStation®5 (PS5®) and PlayStation®4 (PS4®). This season features a new map for SMASH THE STAR, new boss battle in SQUAD MISSIONS and more. SOULFUL HOUR will run from Nov. 7 until Dec. 12.

SOULFUL HOUR highlights include:
- New Map: Introducing a brand-new map titled, “Golden Glow Villa” for SMASH THE STAR. The new map features the massive mansion home to Legendary FOAMSTAR Bublo Espuma, where guests will be served Bublo’s cooking while spending a wonderful time under a beautiful evening.
- New SQUAD MISSION boss: A new boss has been added to SQUAD MISSIONS for players to enjoy. Players can join forces with others to defeat Ramzey of Clubs as the main boss this season to receive special rewards.
- New Items in Shop and Diamond Trade: Multiple new items have been added to the Shop and Diamond Trade including Rave Breaker’s Chaotic Future, Penny Gwyn’s Last Survivor, Solar Flare and Neon Glasses.
SOULFUL HOUR Season Pass Content:
Players can obtain XP by completing battles, missions and Weekly Challenges to advance through the season tiers and earn various rewards such as additional skins and items. SOULFUL HOUR Season Pass players will receive a foam gun skin for Ramzey and character skins for Soa and Bublo for free. Players who purchase a Premium Season Pass, which is available for $5.99, will unlock even more rewards as all rewards up to each player’s current tier will be unlocked immediately.
FOAMSTARS is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
