LOS ANGELES (Sept. 4, 2025) - SQUARE ENIX announced today the upcoming start of the second Closed Beta Test for its multiplayer murder mystery action game, KILLER INN. Players can sign up to participate in a Steam playtest, which will run from Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. EDT until Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 at 2:59 p.m. PDT / 5:59 p.m. EDT. Players who participated in the first Closed Beta Test can automatically join CBT 2, and newly registered players will be notified of their ability to participate on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Following the first Closed Beta Test conducted in July, several updates, including a reassessment of certain game design elements, balance adjustments and the addition of new features, have been implemented to the game based on player feedback. During CBT 2, players will once again be invited to share their feedback to further update and refine the game.
Updates and further details regarding CBT 2 will be shared through official social media channels and the Steam News Hub. Additionally, visitors attending Tokyo Game Show can preview the CBT 2 version of the game at the SQUARE ENIX booth. Those who play KILLER INN at Tokyo Game Show will receive a CBT 2 invitation code allowing them to join the public test.

About KILLER INN
KILLER INN is a murder mystery action game, fought between the minority team of wolves and the majority team of lambs. Set in a mysterious old castle, 24 players engage in a life-or-death battle of deception. Wolves must disguise themselves amongst the lambs, taking them down one by one. The lambs collect clues (hair, fingerprints, clothing, etc.) left behind at the murder scenes to narrow down the wolves and eliminate them.
