New Mobile Adventure Now Available on iOS and Android for Free

LOS ANGELES (February 25, 2015) – SQUARE ENIX® today announced that its newest mobile adventure role-playing game (RPG), HEAVENSTRIKE RIVALS, is now available for free on iOS and Android devices. Introducing a complex – yet easy to learn – battle system with deep strategic possibilities, the game includes quick-entry player-vs-player combat and hundreds of unique characters to collect, grow and evolve.

To celebrate the global release, this brand new mobile title also brings an exciting bonus during launch period, with an exclusive ‘Black Mage’ token available to all players for a limited time only. Those who have previously played the HEAVENSTRIKE RIVALS beta are also eligible for the special launch token. This token will help players around the world compete the game’s real-time PvP (player-vs-player) mode.

Set in the now tattered aerial kingdom of Lunnain, HEAVENSTRIKE RIVALS features a vicious group of nightmarish monsters known as the Fallen, who seek only the kingdom’s complete destruction. Following these ruthless attacks, the people of Lunnain have come together to repel the Fallen, strike back at the heavens and bring prosperity back to their kingdom.

Brought to life in collaboration with UK-based developers MEDIATONIC LTD (Amateur Surgeon) and Japan-based Yumriu Corporation, HEAVENSTRIKE RIVALS is part of the SQUARE ENIX family, featuring characters designed by Ryoma Ito (FINAL FANTASY® TACTICS ADVANCE) and music by Ryo Yamazaki (FINAL FANTASY XIV).

HEAVENSTRIKE RIVALS lets players engage in simple and deep tactical combat with more than two hundred characters, as they travel across Lunnain to save the legendary Seven Sisters. Players can compete with others across the world, and take part in regular events and weekend Arena competitions to earn epic rewards.
