TAITO Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; hereafter "TAITO") has released the Nintendo Switch™ download-only title "QQQbeats!!!" (pronounced: Kyukyukyubeats) today, Thursday, September 18, on the Nintendo eShop.
- What is『QQQbeats!!!』?
This is an original puzzle game developed by TAITO, known for bubble shooting games, with added rhythm game elements. It’s a rhythmic puzzle game that delivers an exciting experience for everyone, mixing intuitive bubble shooting gameplay and simple rhythm action where you just press buttons to the music. The game features a total of 56 popular songs, including anime and pop songs, VTuber and virtual singer tracks, Touhou arrangements and original songs. Paid downloadable content will also be released regularly.

3 play modes available in either: solo/2 players, on/offline, and competitive/co-op.
【STORY】Solo Play
Story Mode lets you play solo at your own pace while learning the game. The main characters are Ceena and Ame, members of the game-streaming influencer unit “Pupiccolo.” One day, after one live stream, they suddenly find themselves caught in an online controversy and are forced to take a break from streaming. The story begins as they return to streaming after their suspension. Follow the journey of these two as they face challenges on various stages, share laughter with friends, and grow together—sometimes struggling, but always moving
forward. As you progress through the story, new characters and songs will be
unlocked.
【VERSUS】Solo or 2 players
VERSUS mode lets you enjoy one-on-one battles. Online, you can choose from “Ranked Matches”, “Casual Matches”, and “Private Matches” to play against friends. Offline options include “Local Battles “using two devices, “Share-the-Device battle” for 2 players on one device, and “COM Battles” for solo play. Play in your favorite style and enjoy the game to the fullest! There are 16 playable characters in total, including collaboration characters! Make the most of each character’s unique traits to win your battles!
【DUOps】2 players
DUOps mode lets you team up with friends or online players to battle against opponents together. You can enjoy cooperative play both online and offline. Since it’s a co-op mode, you can invite friends regardless of skill level and have fun together. Clearing stages in this mode rewards you with more in-game currency, "BeatCoin."
