TOKYO (December 5, 2012) – TAITO Corporation (TAITO®), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd., today announced the international iTunes® Store release of the GROOVE COASTER® ZERO Original Soundtrack. This album collects the music from the popular iPhone®/iPod touch®/iPad® game.
GROOVE COASTER ZERO is the newest installment in the critically acclaimed GROOVE COASTER series. In addition to the game series itself, the accompanying music has also enjoyed a great deal of popularity, with the previously released GROOVE COASTER Original Soundtrack named Best Game Soundtrack Album in Japan’s iTunes Rewind 2011 retrospective.

The GROOVE COASTER ZERO Original Soundtrack collects only those tracks not featured in previous GROOVE COASTER soundtrack releases. The album features a diverse range of musical talent, including ZUNTATA members Hirokazu Koshio and Shohei Tsuchiya, Mitsuto Suzuki (Square Enix Co., Ltd.), Takeharu Ishimoto (Square Enix Co., Ltd.), Masashi Hamauzu, Sampling Masters MEGA, and Zeami.
As a special bonus, the album includes an advanced release of “Invader Disco (GCZ Edition),” a new track scheduled to be added to the GROOVE COASTER ZERO game in January, 2013.
